This week I kept forgetting what color we were going for, so I never specifically pinpointed yellow tones. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had exactly one instagram photo and one DSLR photo with clear pops of yellow. These pretty little flowers appeared in the planter outside our door this week; they didn’t bloom last year and we certainly didn’t plant them, so I guess it’s a bit o’ nature magic.
My DSLR photo captures the fine details of my mustard yellow sweater, which I wore on a walk last Friday afternoon.
A mysterious plump bud sprouted out from the ground several weeks ago. Today it revealed a vibrant yellow daffodil (thanks for identifying it for me, Gillian)!
Lots of packing and organizing and freaking out to do today.
I plan to redesign my bedroom right after the move in comforting shades of gray, yellow, and robin’s egg blue. There will be a lot of DIY involved, as I don’t have the funds to go out and buy new home goods.
Projects for this room makeover include:
- removing dye from a beige tapestry and turning it into curtains
- making 2-4 pillow cases
- painting black lamp bases yellow
- photo canvas transfers
